I need feminism because
I feel scared to express my slightly unconventional (in their eyes) feminist views around my friends, because I know I will be made fun of mercilessly.
I wish people respected my being a feminist as a real belief,instead of seeing it as a hobby horse or a soap box. It’s sad to see something you’re passionate about being trivialised and used against you.
